Inverness Provost Councillor Alex Graham, who chaired the opening and closing sessions of the charrette at the Culduthel Christian Centre, said: “This has been a very worthwhile exercise, with intensive discussions which produced many good ideas. The next stage is drafting a development brief for the area, which will come to the Council for approval before going out for public consultation early in 2013. There is now an opportunity to make this distinctive area of Inverness even more special, including the possibility of a sporting hub to match any in Scotland.”
