Comments invited on proposal to change Portree and Plockton High School catchment areas.

The Highland Council is inviting people to comment on a proposal to change the secondary catchment areas for Portree and Plockton High Schools.

The Council is carrying out the consultation under the terms of the Schools Consultation (Scotland) Act 2010.

The consultation by Highland Council is running until Wednesday 31 October 2012. A meeting will be held at 6.30pm, Thursday 27 September 2012 at Kyleakin Village Hall, Kyleakin, IV41 8PH.

Copies of the report can also be obtained from Mr Ian Jackson, Education Office, Camaghael Hostel, Camaghael, Fort William PH33 7NE to whom written observations must be submitted not later than Wednesday 31 October 2012.

All comments received will be summarised and made available to elected members who will consider the consultation report at the Adult and Children's Services Committee on 23 January 2013.
