Spotlight on science at Kirkhill Primary
Primary 6 pupils at Kirkhill Primary have hosted an interactive science workshop for their families and pupils at the school.
Visitors took part in experiments, tests and games that the pupils had prepared and set up as part of their Science lessons during the term. The Primary 5 pupils helped and created a display of posters showing their work on important Scottish inventors, which was the theme for the workshop.
Mrs Catherine Milne had applied for and received a grant of £200 from the British Science Association’s to hold this event as part of their National Science and Engineering week.
Head teacher Christine Ford said: “It was a great success with lots of visitors being very enthusiastic and asking for more events like this in the future.”
