High Life Highland seeks a new director
The Highland Council is seeking to recruit a Director to the Board of High Life Highland (HLH), to provide strategic direction and governance to the company and expert advice and support to its management team in developing and promoting opportunities in culture, learning, sport, leisure, health and wellbeing.
A vacancy has been created following the resignation of Inverness hotel executive, Craig Ewan, due to work pressures.
The position will be unpaid but reasonable expenses will be available.

The closing date for submissions is Friday 17 May 2013.
Interviews will take place on 10 June 2013 and the appointment will be confirmed at the Highland Council meeting of 27 June 2013. Board induction and training will take place in July 2013.

Preference will be given to applicants who are resident within the Scottish Highlands.
The main business of High Life Highland is the delivery of a Service Delivery Contract for The Highland Council across the Company’s nine areas of work, namely adult learning, archives, arts, leisure facilities, libraries, museums, outdoor education, sport and youth work.
