Update 3: Notification of disruption to roads in Highlands and Islands during severe weather

Police and partners wish to provide a further update in relation to disruption on the region's roads in the current spate of adverse weather.
 
The Inverinate Causeway on A87 has now been fully reopened as has A82 at Torlundy and A828 at Ballachulish. The Eriskay Causeway in South Uist has also reopened and road users are advised to drive with care.
 
Both the Kessock Bridge and Skye Bridge are closed to high sided vehicles and the Dornoch Bridge has fully reopened.
 
The A830 Mallaig road, A86 Newtonmore to Laggan road, the A836 Bonar to Lairg road, approximately four miles towards Bonar Bridge, A887 four miles south of Invermorriston,A87 at the Kyleachin Straights, A82 at South Laggan outside the Corriegour Hotel is closed,and Grant Street in Inverness are all still closed due to fallen trees and debris. The A861 approximately half a mile south of Acharacle, towards Salen, remains affected as does the A95 between Mains of Dalvey and Cromdale. The low road in Gairloch is affected by flooding.
