City Road closures for Highland Games

Motorists in Inverness are being notified of temporary road closures in the City from 8am on Friday 21st till 23:59 on Sunday 23rd July 2006.

The temporary road closure to vehicular traffic will affect the sections of Bught Road and Ness Walk, Inverness between the junction with Bught Avenue and the junction with Ballifeary Lane.

The closure will affect traffic, but pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. Local access to residential homes and other riverside properties will also be maintained.

Alternative routes for vehicles will be available using Ness Walk (part), Bishops Road, Ballifeary Road, Ballifeary Lane, Bught Road (part), Bught Avenue, Bught Drive and Glenurquhart Road.

The temporary road closures come into force at 8am on Friday 21st till and will remain in force until 23:59 on Sunday 23rd July 2006.
