Six Contest Highland Council By-Election in Inverness

Six candidates will contest the by-election for the Inverness Lochardil seat on The Highland Council, which is being held following the death of Councillor Margaret MacLennan.

The candidates are:

Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party Candidate

• Fraser Fawdon PARR  56 Grigor Drive, Inverness
Scottish Labour Party Candidate

• Robert Stevenson RODGER 29 Ardholm Place, Inverness, IV2 4QG 
Independent

The by-election will be held on Thursday 10 August, with polling taking place between 8am and 9pm at Lochardil Primary School.

Councillor MacLennan served on the former Inverness District Council between 1992-96 and continuously on The Highland Council from 1996 until her death.
