Fire at Royal Hotel, Dingwall

Housing and Property Service officers of The Highland Council are securing alternative accommodation for 9 homeless clients who had to be evacuated from the Royal Hotel, Dingwall, when fire broke out overnight at the House of Multiple Occupation.

Anyone else who may have been affected by homelessness as the result of having to vacate their neighbouring home because of the fire should contact the Housing and Property Service on Tel – 01349 886606 or visit Dingwall Service Point at Ross House.

Hill Street and High Street were closed as a result of the fire as the police and fire services deal with the incident.
