Road condition and gritting treatment reports by The Highland Council’s, Transport, Environmental and Community Services for the morning of Tuesday 12 February 2013 are as follows:

Caithness and North Sutherland
Road in Caithness are all clear. Occasional icy/frosty patches in North Sutherland treating as required in priority order.  Posted 12/02/2013 08:41:53

South Sutherland and East Ross
Road surface mostly dry, minor seepage areas treated

Nairn
Roads dry or damp with salt. No problems. Posted: 12/02/2013 08:39:17

Badenoch and Strathspey 
Roads mainly dry with some icy run off's.  Gritting has taken place where required. Posted: 12/02/2013 08:40:41

Inverness
Roads dry so team just had to grit a few icy patches where there were drainage issues. Posted 12/02/2013 08:45:53

Ross and Cromarty
Roads generally dry. Odd icy patches, mainly where seepage has occurred, all treated. Posted 12/02/2013 08:52:24

Skye and Lochalsh
Roads dry. No issues. Posted 12/02/2013 08:06:46

Lochaber
Road surface was mostly dry.  Minor seepage areas all treated. Posted: 12/02/2013 09:21:25
