Highland Council Leader welcomes US TV coverage of Scottish Open

The Leader of The Highland Council Councillor Drew Hendry has warmly welcomed the news that NBC are to film the final two days of the  Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open at Castle Stuart in July.

He said: “This is absolutely brilliant news. What a coup for the European Tour and Castle Stuart. You just can’t put a price on the value of having the final two days broadcast live in the United  States.  There is no doubt that the stunning scenery that has captivated audiences across Europe will entice US golfers and visitors to our shores.”
