“ClubGolf@The Castle” - ClubGolf activities for young people
ClubGolf, which promotes golf for young people, has set a target of attracting 500 children to participate in a mass chipping challenge on Wednesday 10 July and will provide other activities throughout the Open to keep young golfers interested.
The children will also get the chance of watching the golfing stars on the practice area; following them in the ProAm and also enjoying the junior golfing activities in the ClubGolf Junior Area . For the first time, there will be a ClubGolf Café where the young people can relax and have a juice and snack.
Adults will receive a free ticket for Wednesday 10 July if they take children to the mass chipping challenge. They should arrive by 10.15 am in time for the parade led by junior pipers at 10.45 am with the chipping challenge being staged between 11.15 - 11.55 am.
