City drivers warned of temporary road closure

Motorists are being advised of the temporary closure between Castle Road, Inverness, from its junction with Haugh Road to its junction with Bridge Street between 6am and 4pm on Monday 5 June 2006.

Traffic coming via the Ness Bank and Cavell Gardens road will be allowed to proceed towards the Ness Bridge.

The Highland Council advises that the temporary road closure will be in the interests of public safety during construction works at the Ness Bank Church.

The closure will affect vehicular traffic, but pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. Local access will be available using the Ness Bank and Cavell Gardens Road.
