New Area Administrator for Inverness

The Highland Council has appointed a new area administrator for the City of Inverness and Area. He is David Haas, the Council’s Area Solicitor and Area Administrator for Badenoch and Strathspey.

David joined the former Inverness District Council in July 1994 and moved to Badenoch and Strathspey in February 1996. Originally from London, David is a solicitor qualified in both Scots and English Law and has covered the full range of Corporate Services functions.

He replaces Alister Paterson, who retired last week as the area administrator after 43 years service in local government.
