Interim election results for Stratherrick and Foyers Community Council
A new community council membership has been formed for Stratherrick and Foyers Community Council following the count of postal votes cast in the election held on Thursday 27 June 2013.
The turnout for Stratherrick and Foyers was 56%, with 322 valid votes counted.
There were seven candidates standing for six places on the Community Council.
Those elected were: Catriona Fraser (229), Ian Bateman (207), Ros Rowell (205), Iain Brown (163); Martin Donnelly (147), and Sally McGuire (145).
An interim election was held due to the resignation of former members which brought the Community Council down to below half of its membership of 8, and prompted the need to fill the 6 vacancies.
The first meeting of the new Stratherrick and Foyers Community Council will be held at 7pm on Tuesday 23 July at Stratherrick Hall, Gorthleck.
