Culloden Creature Trail
On Wednesday 3 April, The Inverness Countryside Rangers are inviting families with a sense of adventure to meet them at the magical Culloden Avenue to follow the mythical creature trail around this glorious wooded lane. The Avenue holds many secrets which you can help to unlock as you make your way around the trail finding clues and solving puzzles. The Dragon’s treasure could be your prize!
Countryside Ranger John Orr said: “This is a fun family event which should be a little different from any others taking place over the Easter holidays. We will be setting a trail of clues to follow along the avenue about some of the creatures that live here – mythical or very much real. This is also a chance to experience a gem of a site on the east side of Inverness so if you’ve not been here before, Culloden Avenue is well worth a visit.”
This event starts at 1pm, lasts for 2 hours and costs £3 per child. The meeting upoint will be the Culloden Avenue car park next to the Doocot just off Barns Church Road, Culloden. Grid reference NH523 422.
