New Education Manager for Inverness
The Highland Council has appointed a new Education Manager for Inverness. He is Callum Mackintosh, formerly Depute Rector at Culloden Academy. Mr Mackintosh took up his new job earlier this week. He will oversee 63 schools in the Inverness area.
He replaces Clifford Cooke, who retired last month.
Mr Mackintosh has strong Highland connections having been born and brought up in the Inverness area. He began his teaching career in the PE department at Tain Royal Academy before moving to a similar post at Inverness High School. He then took up a Guidance role at Inverness Royal Academy before moving to Culloden Academy.
