Inverness hotel holds Christmas lunch for homeless

The gathering has been organised by The Highland Council and Ramada Inverness to provide some early festive cheer for people who are either currently or potentially homeless.

Linda Stirratt, Conference and Events Manager at Ramada Inverness said: "We are delighted to be able to give a bit of Christmas goodwill to homeless people in our community who must find it very hard at this time of year. One of the ways in which we try to achieve the Ramada Jarvis six core pillars of excellence, is by providing the "Spirit to Serve Our Community".

Our staff freely give up their own time and energy to help make a difference to the lives of others."

Iver Forsyth, Highland Council’s Manager of the Waterloo Place Day Centre for homeless people said: "This is now the second year that we have assisted Ramada Jarvis in providing a Christmas lunch for homeless people. We help by coordinating the event and managing those attending on the day."
