Planning process begins for new Inverness Royal Academy

Plans for the £34 million new Inverness Royal Academy project will be on display between 3 - 7pm on Wednesday 11 September at a drop-in public exhibition being held at the Culduthel Christian Centre, Inverness.

This is a “pre-application consultation” in which the proposals are shared with the public, so that comments at this stage can be considered by architects before formal planning applications are submitted. Members of the project team will be in attendance to answer any queries. The deadline for responses is 11 November.

A Council spokesman said:  “This is an opportunity for anyone to comment on the current proposals before applications are made.”

In addition, the proposed plans will be available after the meeting on the Council’s website on /learninghere/schools/schoolsbuildingsprogramme.
