Ness Islands remains closed for public safety.
The Highland Council is advising pedestrians and cyclists that the Ness Islands, Inverness remain closed today (9 January) for public safety due to the high water levels of the River Ness. The islands were closed yesterday 8 January.
The public are advised that the gates have been padlocked and are asked to heed the closure for their own safety. Transport, Environmental and Community Services staff will review the situation tomorrow morning (Friday 10 January).
