Ness Islands have reopened
The Highland Council is advising pedestrians and cyclists that the Ness Islands in Inverness have reopened today (Friday 10 January) after closing to the public on Wednesday 8 January due to the high water levels of the River Ness.
One footpath on the Centre Island remains taped off but full access is now available to all the rest of the area. Transport, Environmental and Community Services staff will continue monitoring the river levels over the weekend.
