Skye pupil wins Scouts Commonwealth badge design
Kai Purdy, a pupil at Portree Primary School is the winner of a national competition to design a badge for the Scottish Scouting movement to celebrate the Commonwealth Games Year 2014.
Kai’s winning design which was chosen from almost 400 entries will be worn by all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers in Scotland this year.
To mark the Scouts Scotland Commonwealth Challenge, the commemorative badge has been produced, which can be worn by any Scout on their uniform.
The badge was designed by Kai, who is a Cub Scout from 31st Ross & Sutherland (Portree) Scout Group following the national competition.
