Inverness – happiest place in Scotland

The finding in a survey run by Rightmove, the property website, has been welcomed by The Highland Council Leader Drew Hendry and Inverness Provost Alex Graham.

Councillor Hendry said: “This confirms our own very strong beliefs that Inverness and indeed the Highlands are a great place to live work and play.  People are proud of their homes, feel safe and have strong links with their community.”

Provost Graham said: “The results of the online survey are further evidence of the attraction of setting up home in Inverness. We have good schools, good shops and restaurants, good transport links, good events to enjoy and the most attractive environment you could ask for.”
