Temporary closure of Gourag Bridge

The Highland Council is advising motorists, cyclists and pedestrians of the temporary closure of Gourag Bridge on the U1221 Loch Bran - Boleskine - Garthbeg Road in the Inverness area.

The Council has temporarily closed the bridge in the interests of public safety following damage caused by a vehicle to the bridge.

The restriction will remain in force until Friday 28 November 2014, or at least until repairs have been satisfactorily completed to allow Gourag Bridge to return to full construction and use standard.

The temporary closure will affect vehicles and pedestrians. There will be no exemptions.
