Badenoch, Strathspey, Ardersier and Nairn District Partnership
The next meeting of Badenoch, Strathspey, Ardersier and Nairn District Partnership will take place at 2.15pm on Thursday 25 September at Talla nan Ros in Kingussie.
Items on the agenda include: an overview of the services provided by Caberfeidh Horizons, an innovative social enterprise based in Kingussie. They support the training and work experience for their clients; adults and youth with learning disabilities, mental health problems and the long term unemployed.
The enterprise run a bookshop operation and channel all profits made to the benefit of their clients. Plans for the further development of this valuable local service will also be outlined.
Care at Home issues across the District Partnership area will be considered and an update on the Badenoch and Strathspey Healthcare Redesign consultation process including next steps will be provided by Maimie Thompson, Head of Public Relations and Engagement with NHS Highland.
New District Partnership chair, Graham Crerar, NHS Highland Board Member, will chair the meeting which starts at 2.15pm.
Graham Crerar said: “I am really delighted to be taking over the chair of this important Partnership. We have some important topical issues to consider spanning many services. I want the partnership to play a key role in bringing people together to shape and influence future services.
“As always, there will be an opportunity for members of the public to raise issues and ask questions.”
