Nairn riverside ramble

As part of National Stress Awareness Day people are being invited to join the local Countryside Ranger next Wednesday (5 November) for a meandering six mile walk up the river from Nairn to Cawdor.

John Orr, Countryside Ranger Inverness East and Nairn, said “Immersing yourself in the natural environment is one of the best ways to relax and ease the stresses of our day to day lives. The views from the riverside, glimpses of wildlife and the sound of the river flowing by make this a very beautiful and relaxing walk.”

The walk will take place from 11am – 3pm and return transport to Nairn will be provided. Booking is essential and details of where to meet up will be given at the time of booking. The cost for the guided walk is adults £5, conc. £3 and family £12
