New Head Teacher for Millbank Primary School

The new head teacher of Millbank Primary School in Nairn is Maria McPherson who was formerly Depute Head at Millbank.

Mrs McPherson has taken up her new post following the retirement in October of former Head Teacher Marion Mackay.

Mrs McPherson said: “I feel very honoured to have been chosen as the successor to Mrs Mackay who led the school so well over the last 12 and a half years.  I was a pupil at Millbank and a parent before starting teaching here in August 2000.  Millbank is a very good school with hard-working pupils, supportive parents and dedicated staff.  I am looking forward to leading the whole school community as we build on our successes and continue to provide a caring and supportive learning environment.
