January meeting set to discuss mental health services for young people

The Lochaber District Partnership will next meet on Tuesday 27 January 2015, the first of four Partnership meetings to be held in 2015.  

The agenda will feature a discussion on mental health services for younger people following a recent Lochaber youth focussed Ward Forum where young people raised concerns over the range and availability of mental health services in the district.  

The meeting will also set out a new project which will see Lochaber Care and Repair hosting one of 5 national demonstration sites developing and testing a one stop shop for access to housing adaptions, aids, equipment and telecare.  

The meeting starts at 2.00pm in the Council Chambers, Fort William and members of the public are welcome to come along and observe, with an invitation to comment on the items discussed at the end of each section of the agenda.
