Works nearing completion at Newhall Bridge

Works to reopen the B9163 Findon Mains – Cromarty road at Newhall Bridge are nearing completion.  The bridge was badly damaged during a storm on 9th January and a temporary bridge has now been installed on the line of the existing damaged bridge.   

The road will reopen to all traffic from 6pm tonight (6th February 2015).  However, drivers should be aware that there are some further surfacing and other minor works still to be completed.  These remaining works will be carried out on Monday 9th February and will result in long delays for drivers.  Diversion signs will be in place during the remaining works to ensure drivers are not held up unexpectedly.
