Wind Farm Planning Policy on agenda for joint Ward Forum

The Council’s planning policy on wind farms and a discussion on community resilience are topics on the agenda for a Cromarty Firth, Tain and Easter Ross joint Ward Forum which will take place on Wednesday 18 March in the Invergordon Social and Recreational Club on Castle Road.

The Forum, which runs from 7.30pm-9.30pm, will feature a presentation on the Council’s planning policy on wind farms and both David Cowie, Principal Planner and Malcolm MacLeod, Head of Planning and Building Standards will be available to talk about the policy and answer questions.

Representatives from Police Scotland will be attending and there will be a discussion about community resilience following local power outages and the recent bad weather.
