Resurfacing of Academy Street, Millburn Road and Crown Road junction

Resurfacing of the Academy Street/Millburn Road/Crown Road junction is scheduled to take place between the 9th and 15th March 2015.

The work will be carried out overnight so as to minimise disruption, commencing at 8pm each night and finishing by 6am the next morning.

During the works the permanent traffic signals will be switched off and replaced with temporary ones, which will be manually controlled in order to minimise disruption. This temporary management system will also operate during the day.

Some additional ancillary works will remain to be completed after the 15th March (around a fortnight afterwards) but again, the contractor has arranged for this to take place between 8pm and 6am.
