Meeting of Inverness West District Partnership
The first meeting of the Inverness West District Partnership in 2015 is to be held on Friday 20 March at 10am in Merkinch Community Centre.
Bill Alexander, The Highland Council’s Director of Care and Learning will lead discussion on District Partnerships, Community Development and Community Planning and NHS Highland’s Joanna MacDonald, Director of Adult Social Care and Deborah Jones, Chief Operating Officer, will deliver a presentation on Adult Social Care Initiatives.
Highland Councillor Margaret Davidson will chair the meeting, which is held in public. She said: “We have a good opportunity now to make our district partnerships really relevant and productive at community level. The key is connecting with our communities and driving forward actions to build services in the community.”
The District Partnerships bring together the council, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue, NHS Highland and the Highland Third Sector Partnership to consider issues relating to the delivery of health, social care and community safety.
