New Head Teachers for Easter Ross and Tain

Miss Gemma Stewart has been appointed by The Highland Council to the post of Head Teacher for the Hill of Fearn Primary School/Tarbat Old Primary school cluster in Easter Ross.

Miss Stewart has previously worked as a class teacher and then as a Principal Teacher in both schools, so is well known by pupils and parents alike.  She has worked in the cluster for the past seven years.

Miss Stewart replaces Mrs Eileen Henderson, who was appointed as Head Teacher at Craighill Primary, Tain, earlier this session.

Donald Paterson, Highland Council’s Quality Improvement Manager for schools in the Mid Area said: “We are delighted with both of these recent appointments to primary schools in the Tain Associated Schools Group.  They will be very effective members of what is already a strong and committed team of Head Teachers.”
