Ferintosh pupils meet Great British cyclist

Pupils at Ferintosh Primary School recently met a cyclist who has travelled from John O’ Groats to Lands End.

Henry Blake, Strathpeffer Community Centre Manager, visited primary 5 to 7 pupils at Ferintosh Primary to talk to them about his journey across the length of Great Britain.

The pupils who are studying “John O’ Groats to Lands End” heard about the highs and lows of Henry’s trip and saw the bicycle that he travelled on.

Lynne Caddell, Head Teacher for Ferintosh and Tore Primary Schools said: “The pupils really enjoyed Henry’s visit which was very helpful for their class work. We would all like to thank him for taking time out to join us at Ferintosh Primary which was greatly appreciated.”
