Leader welcomes discussion on City Region Deal

Leader of the Council, Margaret Davidson welcomed the opportunity to discuss the City-Region Deal with Scottish Secretary David Mundell on his visit to Inverness later in the summer.

Councillor Davidson said: “The City Region Deal is progressing and senior council officials have been working with officials from both Scottish and UK governments on this over the summer.

"I look forward to discussing the Deal with David Mundell at our meeting in Inverness later in August amongst other matters on our agenda. An update paper will be brought to Council in September.”
