Farr Higher Successes

Farr High School, Bettyhill has congratulated students on their successes. 

Katherine Wood Acting Head Teacher said: “I am delighted that 39% of our S5/6 pupils have achieved at least 5  Highers. All those who sat Advanced Higher this year were successful.

“100% of our S4 pupils presented at N3 & N4 passed. 80% of our pupils achieved at least 1 N5 with almost 50% achieving 3 or more N5s. All those who were entered for 6 N5 qualifications achieved them,  with all exceeding the grade they had been predicted. A significant majority of pupils in S4 achieved or exceeded predicted performance across all the qualifications they studied for.

“One S4 pupil achieved a Higher qualification in Art at B level. Two S4 pupils achieved 6 A passes at N5 – 13% of our S4 cohort. 100% achieved a qualification in English, 87% in Maths.

“Of the N5 qualifications sat, 96% resulted in an A-C pass, with 56% of those being an A grade.
S5/6.”

She added “They have all done very well and should be proud of their achievements.”
