Funding to help communities developing services for themselves
The next meeting of the Inverness West District Partnership will be on Friday (18 September) at the Town House, Inverness.
The partnership is a multi-agency group that looks at services for children and adults and considers how they can be improved or changed to better meet the needs of local communities.
The emphasis on the September meeting will be on the new Community Development Fund worth £40,000 for the Inverness West District Partnership being administered by the Highland Third Sector Interface. This fund is to support activities within communities that contribute to individuals, living with long term health conditions, enabling them to practice self-management.
Ian Murray, Chief Executive of Highlife Highland will also be making a presentation about the activities they offer to communities across the West District.
The meeting is open to everyone and will start at 10 a.m. until about 12 p.m. Please contact Charles Stephen on 01463 785010 for more details.
