Temporary road closure at Flichity Bridge
Road works at Flichity Bridge are to start on Monday (26 October) and road users are advised that a temporary road closure for vehicles travelling in any direction through the area affected will be in place while work is underway.
The work will start at 8am on Monday and is expected to end at 4pm on Saturday 31 October. The area affected by the road closure is the B851 Errogie – Strathnairn – Daviot Bridge – Culloden Moor Road from its junction with the C1076 Loch Ashie – Dunlichity – Brin Road to a point 50 metres northeast of Flichity Bridge.
There will also be a temporary 30mph speed limit on the C1068 Daviot – Balnafoich – Dunlichity Road between its junction with the B861 Inverness – Leys – Inverarnie Road and its junction with the C1076 Loch Ashie – Dunlichity – Brin Road, and on the C1076 Loch Ashie – Dunlichity – Brin Road between its junction with the C1068 Daviot – Balnafoich – Dunlichity Road and its junction with the B851 Errogie – Strathnairn – Daviot Bridge – Culloden Moor Road.
Signage is erected to advise road users of the temporary restriction and access for Emergency Services’ Vehicles will be maintained at all times.
