Meditate to the Autumnal colours on guided walk by Aviemore
The Highland Council’s Countryside Rangers are inviting people to come and relax on a peaceful wander near Aviemore where the full effect of the Autumnal colours can be enjoyed.
The mediation walk, on Wednesday 4 November from 10.30am to 12.30pm will be in the Craigellachie National Nature Reserve and the morning will begin with a gentle stroll uphill through the woods and moor of this gorgeous nature reserve.
Saranne Bish, Countryside Ranger for Badenoch and Strathspey said “Taking time out of your day to find some breathing space and enjoy the world around you is a really great way of getting rid of that stress that we all find ourselves under. Both walking and spending time close to nature can help us to unwind and get things in perspective. We’ll take in the wonderful world around us and practice some meditation techniques in the gorgeous birch woods of Craigellachie National Nature Reserve. We’ll take time to stop and contemplate the wonder of nature and have some laughs along the way.”
Anyone wishing to join the Rangers should meet up at the dry-ski slope car park behind MacDonalds Aviemore Highland Resort and should wear warm clothing and be prepared for inclement weather. The cost will be £4 for adults and £3 concession. For further information please telephone 01479 873 914
