Guided walk at Loch Bellivat, south of Nairn

The Highland Council Countryside Rangers are inviting people to join them on a short walk around the beautiful Loch Bellivat near Nairn. The walk, on Wednesday 4 November, is only 2km/1.5miles and passes through autumnal woodland and along the shore of the loch.

Ranger John Orr who will be leading the walk said: “This Loch is 10 kilometres south of Nairn but it is really worthwhile making the effort to reach this beautiful spot where we will experience a stunning blaze of autumn and hopefully some woodland and lochside wildlife.”

Places are strictly limited so please book a place on 01463 255291 or rangers.inverness@highland.gov.uk. The exact meeting place will be given out on booking.

This event costs £4 adults, £3 concessions. Family tickets are available, costing £11.

The Countryside Rangers run many events and guided walks which aim to help raise awareness and encourage appreciation of the scenery, wildlife and heritage of the Highlands. A programme of Ranger Guided Walks and Events is on the council’s website at: www.highland.gov.uk/countrysiderangerevents
