St Duthus School open day
Local Highland Councillor and Vice Chair of the Council’s Education, Children and Adult Services Committee Fiona Robertson will join learners, parents, carers and teachers to celebrate the opening of the new facilities at St Duthus School, Tain on Wednesday 4 November 2015.
Staff and learners are hosting an open afternoon, during which Cllr Robertson will cut a ceremonial ribbon and declare the school officially open at 2pm.
Acting Head Teacher, Clare Whiteford, the young people and adults who support their learning, will show invited guests around the new purpose-built facilities to see how the needs of the schools’ learners are being met.
Classes will participate in activities to showcase the new facilities which comprise 4 class rooms, a sensory room, soft play room and a canteen with life skills kitchen.
