Vandalism at Nairn Paddling Pool

The paddling pool at the Nairn Links has been subject to vandalism with the surrounding wall extensively damaged and the protective netting removed and dumped some distance from the pool.  The paddling pool closed at the end of September and had been drained for the winter months. 

The vandalism has taken place over the last two to three weeks.  Action is being taken to make the area safe and repairs have been instructed.

The matter has been reported to the Police who are conducting enquiries into the matter.  If anyone has any information which might assist with enquiries they are asked to contact police Scotland on 101 or to contact Crimestoppers.
