Licensing of public entertainment activities
The Highland Council is inviting the public to submit written representations to the Council about proposed changes to public entertainment licensing activities.
All representations should be made to the Council by Friday 18 December 2015.
The changes are being proposed under Section 9(2) of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, to take effect within The Highland Council area from 1 January 2017.
The proposed changes will affect premises used for:
- exhibitions, lectures and illustrated talks,
- fireworks displays, laser displays and war games,
- trampolines and bungee trampolines,
- entertainment/variety shows,
- concerts and musical performances,
- raves, and
- the performance of plays.

All representations received will be considered by the Highland Licensing Committee before the final revised list of activities is agreed.
