The next Badenoch & Strathspey, Ardersier and Nairn District Partnership Meeting will take place at 9.30am on Thursday 10 December 2015 in St Andrews Church Hall, Grampian Road in Aviemore.

District Partnerships bring together a range of partners to discuss issues relating to the delivery of Integrated Children’s and Adult Services and health, social care and community safety issues in each partnership area.

David McDairmid, Station Manager, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service will attend and present information relating to fire safety activity and local partnership working

Kelly Sutherland, recently appointed as a co-ordinator with the Highland Senior Citizens Network will outline the work of the HSCN and in particular, the facilitation of involvement of older people in the planning, review and commissioning of services that affect older people.

Councillor Jaci Douglas, who chairs the District Partnership, is keen for members of the public to come to the meeting.  She said: "I would encourage any interested parties to come along listen to the discussions and input into the debate. The District Partnerships are action and solution focussed meetings for local services and it would great to have members of the community along.”
