Green fingered families from Caithness had a go at creating Christmas decorations from natural materials when they joined The Highland Council Countryside Rangers for a special seasonal craft session in the Seadrift centre at Dunnet.

Everyone taking part, adults as well as children, had great fun making their own festive decorations.

The event was led by East Caithness ranger Kirsty Rosie who said: “Everyone really enjoyed making the wreaths, reindeer and tree decorations.  It was lovely to see what could be created with some simple odds and ends from the outdoors together with the children’s imaginations”
