Lochaber District Partnership focus on housing at next meeting
The first meeting of the Lochaber District Partnership to be held in 2016 is on Tuesday 2 February at 1.15pm in The Highland Council’s Chambers, Lochaber House, Fort William.
Presentations on social housing investment and development plans, housing management and support services as well as a project update on the Be@home partnership project will feature.
Energy Scotland will also be present to talk about the extent of fuel poverty in the area and its’ impact on health and well-being. The emphasis will be on the assistance that is available for those householders who are suffering from fuel poverty.
The meeting will also discuss progress on the priorities contained within the Lochaber Community development plan – healthier section.
The general public are welcome to observe the meeting and will be invited to comment on the items discussed at the end of each section of the agenda.
