Council to close Inverasdale Primary School
The Council
welcomes the confirmation from the Scottish Government that the Council’s
decision to close Inverasdale Primary School has not been called in by
Ministers.
The school
has been mothballed since the end of session 2011/12, with pupils attending
nearby Poolewe Primary School.
Highland Councillor Drew Millar, Chairman of the Council’s Education, Children and Adult Services Committee said: “This confirmation is welcome and provides clarity to the local community, and allows the Council to now formalise the long-term future of the former school building. This will be progressed in discussion with local stakeholders.”
