Community hubs and the development of care units to be under the spot light at next Lochaber District Partnership

The next meeting of the Lochaber District Partnership will be held on Tuesday 19 April at 1.30pm in the Council Chambers, Lochaber House, Fort William. 

Members of the public, Community Councils and Development Trusts in Lochaber are being encouraged to participate in discussion regarding the concept of community hubs. The NHS Lochaber District Manager will be on hand to explain what these are and give examples of good practice involving the wider community.  A presentation will also be made by a representative from Highland Home Carers.

Other items on the agenda include reporting on the grants awarded in 2015/16 through various funds available in Lochaber plus general progress reporting on initiatives and substantial projects currently under development in Lochaber.

Anyone is welcome to come along to observe the meeting and will be invited to comment on the items discussed at the end of each section of the agenda.
