Boundary railing replacement at Strathpeffer Spa Gardens
The Highland Council has awarded a contract to Strath Civil Engineering Ltd to replace the boundary railing at Strathpeffer Spa Garden. Work on site will start next week and is scheduled for completion by 8th July.
The gardens will continue to be open to the public during the construction phase, with only small sections of pavement on the A834 cordoned off at any one time. Pedestrian diversions will be put in place.
The existing bow top fence will be replaced with a conservation style railing more in keeping with the traditional character of the gardens and village. This latest improvement will be in addition to works carried out by the Highland Council in 2015, which included the creation of new entrance, path improvements, new handrails and internal fencing.
