Under-21 Youth Groups set to benefit from Lochaber bequest fund

The Helen and S G MacGregor Bequest fund is seeking applications from organisations in Lochaber who are working with or seeking to support young people under the age of 21.

The bequest for the Trust Fund was made from the Estate of Mrs Helen MacGregor who lived in Banavie with the Trust being named after her and her husband Sidney MacGregor who were both teachers at Lochaber High School. 

The fund specifies that applicant organisations must have charitable status and be principally or solely located in Lochaber.  Any type of project or activity will be considered as long as the beneficiaries are solely young people living in Lochaber and who are under the age of 21.  Organisations can apply for between £7,500 and £12,500.
