Storytime in Cannich woods

“If You Go Down to the Woods Today”… you might be surprised to find some well-known book characters and a literacy event with a difference.

‘Stories in the Woods’ takes place in Cannich on Wednesday 27th July from 10am to 12.30pm and involves a walk with a twist with The Highland Council Countryside Rangers.

Participants will find different activity stations around the woods relating to different nature stories. Readers can also create their own tale by collecting words around the woods as they go. The event is family friendly but also suitable for older individuals.

Details of where to meet up will be given out when people contact the Rangers to book their places. The event costs £3.50 per child/concession, £4.40 per adult and £11 for families.
